Where to play and how to meet other Youth Pickleball athletes?
This is currently one of the biggest challenges that many of our youth athletes have come across. We
have found that there are a few ways to overcome this obstacle.
- Join a Youth Pickleball Association certified partner program. A great example of this would be Junior Force Pickleball. All of the coaches at Junior Force Pickleball are certified by the Youth Pickleball Association.
- Ask your physical education teacher if they know of anyone in school who is playing Pickleball.
- Ask other organizations that you may be affiliated with if they play Pickleball. i.e. religious groups, other sports teams, etc..
- Ask parent groups on social media if they know of places to play. i.e. a moms group of your town. If you are able to locate a location, but do not have children playing, ask the groups that are currently playing, when a good time would be for kids to come out and play.
